Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
"Building Resilient Youth"
The Intensive Outpatient Program for Addiction Treatment is a chemical dependency program designed to assist adolescents (age 12-18) in addressing their substance addiction issues when traditional outpatient services have failed. The Bridge Center accomplishes this through a series of strategic services and interventions offered over a 4 week period.
The program runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and includes a wide range of therapeutic sessions, vocational explorations, addictions counseling, and experiential/adventure-based learning activities.
Clients appropriate for the program can enroll at any time during the session (open enrollment), allowing for flexibility and convenience. Families are highly encouraged to participate in the adolescent’s treatment by attending Family Therapy sessions, Family Day activities and Parent Support Groups.
The cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approach used in the program works best when the adolescent’s support system is involved in the treatment program. In addition to the daily program schedule for the Intensive Outpatient Program, clients and their families may access the numerous other programs and services available at The Bridge Center.
All of The Bridge Center's services are available on a sliding fee scale to those clients who qualify for financial need. The Bridge Center accepts Medicaid, Nevada Check-up and some private insurance policies in addition to cash, check and debit payments.
